Time has come to sell my Clio
Trophy. I looked long and
hard before buying this particular car... There are some real dogs out
there... I have owned it
for 2 years and can honestly say it's one of the best and most fun cars I have
ever owned. No wonder Evo
magazine says it's in the top 10 best EVER cars!
I had intended to keep this one a long
time, as I am convinced the Trophy will eventually rise in value, along the
likes of the Williams Clio, who knows. I
guess if you are reading this, you will know the Trophy was a limited addition
of 500 cars. This one needs
for nothing, unlike many for sale, and all the expensive maintenance has been
done. It’s in exceptional condition.
So the car... It's a 2005 Clio Trophy number 190/500 which has done
68,012 miles.. It has
service history and ALL the important (and expensive) jobs have recently been
done. This includes:-
- New Spark Plugs
- Air Con re-gassed last year – still ice cold
- Antifreeze changed
- Brake Fluid Changed
- New rear exhaust mountings
- Gear box oil changed
- New pollen filter
- New springs fitted all way round
- Thatch am 1 alarm and immobiliser
- New clutch cable, so the clutch is much lighter
than other 182's I have driven
- Power steering fluid changed (yes, I am anal
about maintenance!!)
- Two new front tyres and the rear have good tread
- Stainless Steel exhaust
- The geometry has been checked and set all round,
it drives like it's on rails.
- Comes complete with two keys and the puncture
repair kit, and the original folder
- It's HPI clear, I can supply a copy of when I
bought it, or you can do your own
- MOT to June 2012
- The V5 is here and registered in my name
It comes with a
fully stamped service book, the old MoT's, two keys (both work) and a
pile of old maintenance receipts. The car has really good provenance and
shows no sign of accident damage repairs or paintwork. You will struggle
to find a better example than this.
Please note, the
pictures were taken in the summer, but the car has only done 600 mile since the
last MOT and is always kept in a centrally heated garage!

west of
Payment by cash
at my bank or direct bank transfer only please. The car will only be
