There are few surprises: it's a two-door with a foldling hard top, like its predecessor. The roof is mainly smoked glass and there's a new fixed glass wind deflector positioned behind the rear seats to minimise buffeting up to 50mph. That glass roof totals 0.47sq m (the largest area in the segment, claims Renault) and raises or lowers electrically in 21 seconds.Boot space stands at 417 litres with the roof up, 211 litres when stowed.Renault Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet: the hardwareThe usual array of Mégane hardware is deployed in the CC. It's claimed to be stiffer than before and a new twin-clutch transmission is available for the first time. LOL I've come to the conclusion that Renault must have been trying to garner some cache from the Renaultsort Megane 250 going for the white paint, black mirrors and black roof bars.... surprised they didn't go for the black wheels too! Its not really going to work. I love my Megane CC, its a relaxing enjoyable place to be... But it is a lardy assed bugger and it is NEVER going to be confused for a sports version whatever you do to it! LOL They should just realise that it is supposed to be a Gran Turisimo and go for a nice metallic red with the tan leather interior or some other such refined combination. Robby1977 I know what you mean about the chirps... its the rubber seasl. Just need to get some silicon lubricant on them and it goes away. Current Megane front teamed with smoothed out, Focus CC-ish rear end.
