who has that spare day or so to put it back on the road. Mot`d till 21/11/2012. and had four new tyres fitted prior to the belt failure, has always been maintained and serviced to a high standard but I have no longer the time or space to carry out the repairs, so with regret it must go. There are a couple of other defects, one of the rear door locks is jammed,all parts to repair will be supplied and the speed sensor requires replacement,again the part shall be supplied.The vehicle has been owned by my wife since 2006 with one previous owner only. It has never been involved in any accidents, so the paint you see on the vehicle is the original from factory.It comes complete with tow bar and electrics and JVC disc audio unit (the original audio unit will also be supplied so as the onboard stalk control can be activated if wished). The interior is in very good condition with no rips or damage,never been smoked in or used to carry anything other than passengers.The car drove extremley well prior to the breakdown, and it returned a staggering MPG, comes complete with both keys that are fully functional with the central locking / immobiliser.Spare wheel and tool kit are all present and complete including it`s towing eye. The cars handle like they are on rails and go great, also driven like a nice person can get quite good MPG. The car is in great condition but this is a 1995 car and so does have marks as you expect. However this is a car that is only going up in price which is even better. It also has a lovely comfy Renault grey leather interior, but the drivers bolster stitching has come undone. Would not take much to actually take out and restitch but i use daily and so haven`t had the time to do so. The engine back is pretty tidy and clean has had the coolant changed around a month ago. The oil is still fresh and clean as had a cam-belt change last November when the prev owner took it off the road. i do not have receipts for this but the prev owner is a very good friends family member and assured me was done. i also checked this and the belts doesn`t look old at all.Lovely sounding stainless exhaust, not too loud and brash and poppy. Good burble when wanted.It does have electric windows, sunroof and mirrorsBad:The pass side electric window sticks as there is glue residue from taking window tints off.The sunroof mech has been chucked as it was not worked, a new motor is pennies on eBay.One of the wing mirrors does not move, I haven`t even looked at this as moving the glass around is not something i ever need to do.The parcel shelf was chucked when got the car as it was falling to pieces and looked a mess, again pennies on eBay.Although I bought the car in January I have not received the v5 doc from the DVLA. I have just sent of the green slip and a v52 form to get it and then be able to sign over.There are a few small dents on the corner of the tailgate ( see pictures ) and also a bit of paint missing on drivers side rear arch, however the arch is solid.few other paints chips on such things like the front wings where the prev wheels used to catch on the arch on full lock, these are plastic though so not going to be rusting any time soon. Also a chip off the drivers side door ( see picture )That is about it from me, i have gone into details that I know about the car and over this past 4-5 months of ownership I have utterly loved this car and it has served me well. Small chip in the windscreen in the driver`s field of vision which means the screen will need replacing. till Jan 13. This is a very cheap car to run,group 4 insurance,does very well on fuel and the tax is only £20 per year making it very affordable to run. This car has never let me down it is a good runner,it is in very good condition for year,just minor scratches and scrapes , slight paint corrosion on mirrors on both sides,only what you would expect with a car this age.It has just had a full valet and looks great,in fact i quite fancied keeping it it looks that good. The only faults with the electrics are; the driver side window has stopped working and the remote central locking does not work. No chips at all in any of the windows. HPI clear (we paid cash years ago for it so no issue there). It’s a good car with a good engine. | The car is 7 years old, and there are a few points i should mention – The exterior has the odd mark that you would expect on a 7 year old car. Primarily a small impression next to the driver’s door handle (see photo of drivers door, very small indent above handle), and the rear left bumper corner has grazing where it was rubbed against our drive wall are the honest faults. ive shown these in the photos. The bonnet has thumb imprssions where it has been closed so small they dont even show on photos,. Torque remains unchanged at 148lb ft, but is now produced 150rpm sooner. Better stability is claimed from the 12mm wider front and 16mm wider rear tracks, along with an extra 13mm in the wheelbase and a castor angle increased to the same 3deg as the old Cup model.
