Renault R 19 For Sale

new clutch last year, cam belt changed at 120,000 miles. It`s got good tyres and classic renault alloy wheels. The body work is sound with some superficial rust. There are a few marks on the body which I guess is normal for a car of this age but it still looks good and polishes up nicely. The interior is in good condition and looked great when I had it fully valeted last year. The seats are in good condition - just one small tear on the back of front seat where stitching has come undone. It is MOT`d until 25th July 2012 and taxed to end of May 2012. Now for the bad bit... NEEDS NEW GEAR BOX - IT MAKES A GRATING NOISE IN 1ST AND 2ND AND CAN`T GET 3RD! ...Due to this it may be just used for SPARES OR REPAIR as needed. It still runs so I feel it still has some good life in it if repaired - starts 1st time every time. DESCRIPTION:This Renault 19 was registered towards the end of Renault 19 production and is the Executive run out model, which was based on the standard 16v but came with a full leather interior. The car is in exceptional condition both inside and out, and offers a fantastic retro driving experience from the age when Renault was first setting the bench mark in hot hatchbacks. A great modern classic which is great fun to drive and extremely comfortable at the same time.INTERIOR FEATURES:Completely original interior with full black leather sports interior, electric front windows, mirrors and sunroof, Standard steering wheel with air bag, and authentic Renault radio cassette, with factory cover plate.
