Please find my wife`s Renault Wind GT TCE convertible for sale.It`s being advertised because my work commitments will now take me abroad so we will be ...> emigrating shortly.This is a great car with immaculate paintwork and interior. It never fails to turn heads. Despite looking like a car worth far more it is economical, utterly reliable and cheap to tax and run . I have attached a sheet below with the cars specification but please also be aware this car is fitted with Renaults high end stereo with hands free Bluetooth and the Fully Heated Leather seats and interior, which add nearly £2000 to the standard asking price! Rear parking sensors are also fitted. It also has the 3 years service package, so no service costs for the remaining balance. The car has only done 6850miles (At time of placing add). It has never been damaged of received any paint of any kind. The only minor flaw would be some scuffing to the alloys on the front wheels. This is fairly typical due to the upgraded alloys as the tyre offers little protection from rubbing curb stones whilst parking.It has all the original paperwork and will be service at Renault just prior to the sale.The car is great and I know will be a delight to own for the new keeper!Please feel free to ask questions, viewing can be arranged upon request.Please, no canvassers, scammers, or time wasters need contact.I will advertise the car elsewhere so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. The Wind will be available in two standard specifications, plus a limited launch edition.The Renault Wind was unveiled to the public at the Geneva motor show in March. Based on the same platform as the Renault Twingo, its neat coupé bodywork and unusual flip top roof are complimented by a chassis developed by Renaultsport - so it should be great fun to drive.Flip-top roofThe Wind’s unique selling point is its flip top roof mechanism that pivots around the rear windscreen to open or close in a scant 12 seconds.Similar to a design only previously used on the rare Ferrari 575 Superamerica, this is a low complexity method of creating a hard-topped coupé-convertible offering both security and open-air motoring.Petrol power, strong standard kitEngine choice is so far limited to a 98hp 1.2-litre TCe turbo petrol, and the naturally aspirated 131bhp 1.6-litre petrol from the Twingo Renaultsport. Fuel economy and emissions are 44.8mpg and 145g/km CO2 for the former, and 40.3mpg and 165g/km CO2 for the latter.There are two regular trim levels: Dynamique and Dynamique S.Standard equipment on Dynamique includes stability control, four airbags, 16-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, cruise control, sports seats and front fog lights - plus the electrically operated roof.Dynamique S features 17-inch alloy wheels, stereo upgrade, auto lights and wipers, alarm, Bluetooth and USB connector for MP3 players. Roof takes just 12 seconds to unfold Limited edition Wind CollectionTo launch the car, Renault is also offering a limited edition run of 200 Wind Collection models.Available with either engine choice, the Collection features chrome covered, heated electric wing mirrors, leather seats, gloss black roof, red and chrome dash inserts, leather sport steering wheel and gearknob, aluminium pedals, Collection badging and chrome roof cowls.Wind pricing - a little strong?Prices for the new Renault Wind Coupé-Roadster start at £15,500 for the 1.2 Dynamique rising to £17,300 for the 1.6 Dynamique S. The Collection is priced £17,300 for the 1.2, £18,200 for the 1.6.This makes the Wind well priced against claimed rivals such as the Peugeot 207 CC and Mazda MX-5 Roadster-Coupé - but not quite as cheap and cheerful as we were hoping.The Renault Wind goes on sale in May, with first deliveries expected in July.
